Privacy Policy for Animal Insights

What we collect

• Contact information – the e-mail address you provide at checkout.
• Payment details – handled exclusively by Stripe. We never store full card numbers on our servers.
• Uploaded files – veterinary records, lab results, notes, and images you choose to upload for analysis.
• A human review step – a human will review your uploaded records and the generated report to verify accuracy.

How we use your data

• Generate a one-time report and e-mail it to you in plain English.
• Provide customer support and issue refunds if needed.
• Improve our service in aggregate (we may keep anonymized statistics, never the files themselves).

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform. These services process data on our behalf and have their own privacy policies:

• Stripe – Payment processing and fraud detection. View Stripe's Privacy Policy
• Resend – Automated email confirmation when your files are successfully received. View Resend's Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare – Security and bot protection on our upload forms. View Cloudflare's Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics (GA4) – Privacy-focused usage analytics. We use GA to understand how visitors use our website (e.g., pages viewed, clicks, device/browser). We have configured GA to:
  • Anonymize IP addresses where supported,
  • Disable Google Signals and Advertising Features (no remarketing, no ad personalization), and
  • Retain event-level data for up to 14 months (Google's GA4 retention window).
  Google may process pseudonymous identifiers (e.g., cookies) to provide these analytics. (See Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.)

We are not responsible for the data practices of these third-party services. We select partners that maintain high security and privacy standards.

File retention

Uploaded files and generated reports are stored only so we can create and deliver your report. We do not keep permanent copies online. If you need long-term access, please save the report attachment from the e-mail we send you.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any residual personal data by e-mailing contact@animalinsights.ai. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We use encrypted transfer and storage during processing to protect uploaded records and generated reports.

Cookies

We use:

• Essential cookies (e.g., a session cookie) to keep the site secure and prevent upload abuse.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to measure site usage and performance.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or enable cross-site ad tracking.

Your choices (cookies & analytics)

Cookie controls: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Opt-out of Google Analytics: You can install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or use built-in browser tracking protections.

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: If your browser sends a DNT/GPC signal, we treat it as a preference to minimize non-essential tracking where feasible.

Disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law or to prevent fraud or harm.
